Implementing the Standard
There are many organisations and individuals that can help you understand and implement the Standard
The Role of Investors in People UK
Investors in People UK's main role is to maintain and enhance the reputation of the Standard through quality assurance and development of the intellectual property of the Standard.

Role of the Quality Centre (QC)
Quality Centres were launched in April 2001. Their overall remit—as defined by the Department for Education and Skills (DfES)—is to offer, manage and quality assure Investors in People assessment and recognition services to organisations in their area. They also have a key role in developing Investors in People Assessors and Advisers in their region. Quality Centres work closely with their local Business Links and Learning and Skills Councils to ensure they can manage the potential volume of organisations coming through to be assessed against the Investors in People Standard, the Models  and Profile  There are 13 QCs; 10 in England and one in each of Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland that are licensed and quality assured by Investors in People UK to deliver the aforementioned services.

Quality Centres can help you with queries relating to assessment, and they can process and manage your Investors in People assessment. A number of Quality Centres offer advice and guidance on implementing the Standard and Models.

Role of the Delivery Partners
Delivery Partners employ a number of Registered Practitioners who can help you. There are also a number of independent consultants who are registered and able to help organisations with their development needs.

There are approximately 1500 registered practitioners who are either employed or self-employed within the UK.

Registered Practitioners are quality assured against defined criteria to ensure the quality of advice and guidance.
