Some organisations decide that they need additional support, often to improve their performance in a particular area. Our Investors in People Centres have experienced advisers who can provide suggestions for new approaches or design practical solutions to help organisations to address developmental areas.
Your Centre can provide you with an adviser who is experienced in a particular issue, such as health and wellbeing at work, your sector or type of business. Alternatively you may decide that you want an adviser who can bring experience and ideas from other sectors. The choice is up to you.
The first step is for you to consult with your local Centre. The Centre will put forward the most suitable adviser and you will then meet with them to agree the scope of the support required and their fees.
Although some Investors in People advisers also do assessment work, it is not possible for your adviser to provide advice and then later on assess your organisation. A separate assessor will be put forward, in order to avoid bias and to ensure that that your assessment is objective and fair.
