As part of our commitment to continuous improvement, Investors in People UK works collaboratively with a range of strategic partners across the public, private and third sectors to:

• Support greater understanding and insight into the variety of business issues and workforce challenges being faced across the spectrum,
• Provide information and alignment to complex agendas, and
• Influence the focus on people performance, business improvement and productivity.

Our relationships with partners and strategic stakeholders are developed at many different levels to build on the benefits that organisations receive from working with the Investors in People framework. Examples include close partnership working through agreements with CIPFA and ACCA providing CPD benefits for employees, mapping the Investors in People Standard against other standards and sector frameworks, contributing towards policy of other Government initiatives and undertaking joint partnering activity from research to judging awards.

Investors in People recognises that different organisations face different challenges and require unique solutions. Through knowledge and experience of the issues and concerns faced by each sector, we can ensure that we assist customers not only to achieve Investors in People recognition, but also to tackle their own sector-specific priorities.
